Starry night and beyond(june,1889):

Van Gogh illustrated the view from his asylum window, which faced east, twenty-one times. All of the pieces in the series feature a line of rolling terrain in the distance, even though they portray different times of day and night as well as differing weather. None of them show the bars on his room's window.

When we talk about his paintings, we're talking about a crazy explosion of colors and wild brushstrokes. It's not just for looks; every hue tells a story about his deep feelings. You've probably heard of "Starry Night" or "Irises" – those are like emotion bombs on canvas, capturing all the crazy stuff going on inside his head and his deep connection with nature.

Sunflowers and Self-Portraits(1888-1889):

Oh, and the artist was obsessed with sunflowers. Seriously, there's this series of paintings, and each sunflower is like a color magic trick. And don't even get us started on his self-portraits; they're like a selfie session of his soul, showing us the real deal behind his struggles and self-awareness. The sunflower is mine, in a way.’’ vincent used sunflowers as symbol of his gratitude, sunflowers were a perfect backdrop for Vincent to display his mastery of uniform and strong yellow colors. He had tried painting different flowers, but none of them conveyed the joy and emotions he wished to impart.

“Vincent wanted to be known as the painter of sunflowers.

Vincent knew that his sunflower paintings were special. As did other people. After he died, friends brought sunflowers with them to his funeral. Sunflowers became synonymous with Vincent, just as he had hoped.

Its his sunflower paintings. It's this wild night sky above a chill village, painted during a super tough time in his life. Even though people didn't fully get his art while he was alive, it went on to blow minds and inspire artists all over the world.
